  • Whole Wheat Flour
  • Bread Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • Water
  • Honey
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • Garlic Cloves

How to Make Armenian Bread Rounds Bread Machine

  1. Heat 1 cup of milk in a small saucepan until just boiling. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Add all ingredients to your bread machine in the order specified by your machine's instructions.
  3. Select the dough cycle on your bread machine and let it complete.
  4. Once the cycle is finished, gently turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
  5. Cover and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup olive oil and 1 clove crushed garlic.
  7. Divide the dough into two equal pieces.
  8. Using a lightly floured rolling pin, roll each piece into a 1/2-inch thick round (adjust thickness to your preference).
