  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Dijon Mustard

How to Make Aunt Peggy S Old Fashioned Meat Loaf

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, gently combine 2 lbs ground beef, 1/2 cup tomato paste, 1 medium onion (finely chopped), 1 green bell pepper (finely chopped), 1 cup rolled oats, 2 large eggs, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  3. Shape the meatloaf mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
