  • Hamburger Buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • Ground Beef
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Eggs
  • ketchup, to taste
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • Tomatoes
  • Beets
  • Pineapple Rings

How to Make Aussie Style Burger With The Lot

  1. Cut hamburger rolls in half and butter both sides.
  2. Toast both halves of the rolls on a grill pan or in a toaster until lightly golden brown.
  3. In a separate pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside.
  4. In the same pan, fry or grill the beef patties to your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt.
  5. While the patties cook, gently fry or grill the onion slices until softened.
  6. Fry the eggs to your liking (sunny-side up, over easy, etc.).
  7. Spread ketchup on the bottom half of each bun.
  8. Assemble the burger from the bottom up: lettuce, tomato slices, beetroot slices, onion slices, optional pineapple, and the cooked beef patty.
  9. Top with crispy bacon, fried egg, and the top half of the bun.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
