  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Whole Wheat Bread
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Cooked Bacon
  • 2 tablespoons thousand island dressing
  • Pickle
  • Olive

How to Make Avocado Open Facers

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook bacon until crisp; set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and half (1/2 tablespoon) of the lemon juice.
  3. Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly on one side of each toast slice.
  4. In a separate small bowl, brush avocado slices with the remaining lemon juice to prevent browning.
