How to Make Bacon And Swiss Au Gratin Potatoes

  1. Cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from pan, reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon grease.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Peel and thinly slice 2 pounds of Yukon Gold potatoes (or leave skins on).
  4. In a large bowl, toss potatoes with 2 tablespoons of bacon grease, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  5. Layer half of the potatoes in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
