How to Make Baked Cranberry Apples Crock Pot
- Preheat your crock pot.
- Peel each apple about 1/4 of the way down, leaving the bottom intact.
- Remove the core and seeds from each apple using a melon baller or small knife.
- In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
- Spoon the cranberry mixture into the center of each prepared apple.
- Place the stuffed apples in a 4-quart (or larger) crock pot.
- Add 1/2 cup apple juice or water to the bottom of the crock pot to prevent sticking.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the apples are tender and easily pierced with a fork.
