Ingredients for Beef Stroganoff Easy And Natural

  • Skirt Steaks
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Onion
  • Fresh Mushrooms
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup unsweetened rice milk
  • Dried Parsley
  • 2 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce)
  • 1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh Dill

How to Make Beef Stroganoff Easy And Natural

  1. Place flour and pepper in a resealable plastic bag.
  2. Add the sliced skirt steak to the bag, seal, and shake until steak is evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Season the onion and mushroom mixture with salt to taste.
  5. Remove the onion and mushroom mixture from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Add the floured steak to the skillet and brown on all sides in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
  7. Return the cooked onion and mushroom mixture to the skillet with the browned steak.
  8. Pour in the rice milk and add the parsley. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  9. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 8 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  10. Stir in the tamari and continue to cook for another 15-20 minutes, or until the steak is tender.
  11. Add the halved cherry or grape tomatoes and chopped dill.
  12. Heat through for 2-3 minutes, ensuring the tomatoes are warmed.
  13. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Serve hot and enjoy!

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Want to unlock deeper, more complex flavors? Try toasting your whole spices before grinding them, or blooming ground spices in a little warm oil to enhance their aroma. Deglazing your pan with a bit of stock, wine, or even water after browning ingredients can capture those tasty caramelized bits, adding richness to your dish.
