How to Make Basturma Russian Marinated Skewered Beef

  1. In a large bowl, combine all marinade ingredients: 1 cup water, 1/4 cup paprika, 2 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp black pepper, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp red pepper flakes, 2 tbsp dried oregano, 1 tbsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander, 1/2 cup olive oil.
  2. Add 2 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes, to the marinade. Ensure all pieces are thoroughly coated.
