Ingredients for Beef Vegetables And Rice Noodles With Oyster Sauce

  • Peanut Oil
  • 8 oz dried rice noodles
  • Rump Steak
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Broccoli
  • Carrot
  • Cauliflower Floret
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • Fresh Chili Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

How to Make Beef Vegetables And Rice Noodles With Oyster Sauce

  1. Steam or microwave vegetables (see ingredient list for specifics) for 1 minute until slightly softened.
  2. Pour boiling water over rice noodles. Let sit until softened (about 5-7 minutes), then drain and set aside.
  3. Trim excess fat from 1 lb beef sirloin steak. Gently pound to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into 1-inch squares.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef in batches and stir-fry until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 1 tablespoon of oil, 2 cloves minced garlic, and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add noodles, 1-2 red chilies (finely chopped), 2 tablespoons soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until heated through and well combined.
  6. Return beef to the wok. Add the steamed vegetables and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and the vegetables are tender-crisp. Serve immediately.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
