Ingredients for Beef With Green Pepper
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 egg white
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Sherry Wine
- 4 tbsp cooking oil (vegetable, canola, or peanut)
- Green Peppers
- 1/2 tsp salt
How to Make Beef With Green Pepper
- Marinate 1 lb beef (thinly sliced) in 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1 tbsp sherry, 1 egg white, and 1 tsp sesame oil for at least 30 minutes (longer is better!).
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat until shimmering.
- Add 1 large green bell pepper (sliced) and 1/2 tsp salt. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until slightly softened.
- Remove green pepper from pan and set aside.
- Add 2 more tbsp oil to the pan and heat until shimmering.
- Add the marinated beef to the hot pan. Stir-fry for 3 minutes until browned and slightly cooked.
- Add the cooked green pepper back to the pan and stir-fry for 1 more minute to combine.
- Serve immediately over rice. Garnish with sesame seeds (optional).
