How to Make Better Than Meatloaf
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Gently mix in the herbs of your choice (about 1 tablespoon total).
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes.
- Remove from oven and brush the top with extra ketchup.
- Bake for another 15-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
