How to Make Unstuffed Green Pepper Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the tops off 6 large green bell peppers. Remove seeds and membranes. Cut each pepper into 4-8 pieces.
  3. Simmer pepper pieces in 1 cup of water for 5 minutes.
  4. In a large skillet, brown 1 lb ground beef and 1 medium onion, chopped, over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease.
