How to Make 10 Can Spaghetti Sauce Oamc
- Brown 1 lb Italian sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, crumbling it with a spatula until no pink remains.
- Drain the sausage and rinse with cold water.
- Transfer the browned sausage to a 5-quart slow cooker.
- Sauté 1 large onion and 4 cloves garlic, minced, in 2 tablespoons olive oil in the same skillet until translucent and golden, but not brown.
- Add 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and 1 teaspoon salt to the onions and garlic. Mix well.
