Ingredients for All In One Breakfast

  • Onion
  • 8 large eggs
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1/2 medium bell pepper, finely chopped
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups shredded hash browns

How to Make All In One Breakfast

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook 6 slices of bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside; reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon grease.
  3. Cook 1 pound of sausage in the same skillet until browned and cooked through. Remove sausage and set aside.
  4. Add 2 cups of shredded hash browns to the skillet with the reserved bacon grease. Cook until golden brown and crispy, stirring occasionally.
  5. Finely chop 1/2 medium onion and 1/2 medium bell pepper.
  6. In a large bowl, whisk together 8 large eggs.
  7. Chop the cooked bacon and sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Add the chopped bacon, sausage, hash browns, onion, and bell pepper to the whisked eggs. Stir to combine.
  9. Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  10. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  11. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the bake is set and lightly golden brown.
  12. Remove from oven and sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese) over the top.
  13. Return to the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  14. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Chef's secret: layers of flavor make a dish truly memorable! Consider what a little extra something could bring – perhaps a touch of acidity like a good vinegar or citrus zest, a hint of smokiness from paprika, a bit of umami from mushrooms or soy sauce, or a sprinkle of toasted nuts for texture. Experiment and taste as you go!
