  • All Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups whole milk

  • 1 cup shredded Colby cheese

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

How to Make Arkansas Hot Browns

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a heavy 4-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in hot sauce and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Pour 1/2 cup of the sauce into a small bowl. Set aside.
