How to Make Beef Macaroni Dinner
- Cook 1 pound of macaroni according to package directions.
- Drain the macaroni and set aside. In a large bowl, add 1 (24 ounce) jar of tomato sauce to the drained macaroni and mix well.
- In a large skillet, brown 1 pound of ground beef and 1/2 cup chopped onion over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add the macaroni and tomato sauce mixture to the skillet. Stir in 1 (15 ounce) can of diced tomatoes (undrained), 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Mix well, cover the skillet, and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through. Stir occasionally and add 1/4 cup of water if needed to prevent sticking.
