How to Make Asian Sesame Salmon

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 teaspoon grated ginger, 1 clove minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon ground sesame seeds, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
  3. Finely chop 2 green onions and stir in half into the honey mixture. Save the remaining green onions for garnish.
  4. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the honey mixture (optional).
  5. Place 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets in a 13x9 inch baking dish.
  6. Pour the honey mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Baste with the honey mixture halfway through.
  8. Garnish with the remaining chopped green onions and extra sesame seeds (optional) before serving.
