How to Make Awesome Cheese Dip In Bread Bowl
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook bacon until crispy. Remove from pan, reserving 1 tablespoon of bacon grease.
- Cut the top off the bread boule and scoop out the inside, leaving a 1/2-inch thick shell. Roughly chop the bread removed from the boule and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the reserved bacon grease, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese until combined.
- Add the diced, cooked bacon and the chopped bread from the inside of the boule.
- Pour the cheese mixture into the bread bowl.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the bread is golden brown.
