How to Make Bacon Cheddar Ranch Burgers
- In a bowl, gently combine 1 pound ground beef with 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix. Mix well but avoid overmixing.
- Shape the mixture into 3 equal-sized patties (about 1/3 pound each). Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
- While the patties chill, cook 6 slices of bacon in a large frying pan over medium heat, sprinkling with 1/4 teaspoon black pepper on both sides. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels, reserving 1-2 tablespoons of bacon grease.
- Add the reserved bacon grease to the frying pan. Fry the hamburger patties over medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
