How to Make Beef And Bean Pot
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté 1 lb ground beef, 1 medium onion (chopped), and 4 slices bacon (chopped) for 5-10 minutes, or until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent.
- Drain off any excess grease.
- In a 3-quart casserole dish, combine the following: 1/4 cup vinegar, 2 tablespoons mustard, 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 green bell pepper (chopped), 1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans (drained and rinsed), 1 (15-ounce) can chili beans (drained and rinsed), 1 (15-ounce) can pork and beans (drained and rinsed), and the cooked meat mixture.
- Stir until well combined.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45-50 minutes. Remove from oven, top with 1 cup shredded cheese and 1/2 cup crushed corn chips.
