How to Make Beef Noodle Company Casserole

  1. Cook 1 pound of noodles according to package directions, rinse with cold water, and drain well.
  2. Brown 1 pound of ground beef in 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in 1 (24 ounce) jar of tomato sauce and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine 8 ounces of cottage cheese, 4 ounces of cream cheese (softened), 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of chopped onion, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Beat until smooth.
  5. Spread half of the cooked noodles in a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
  6. Layer half of the meat sauce over the noodles, followed by half of the cheese mixture. Repeat layers with remaining noodles, meat sauce, and cheese mixture.
  7. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and pour evenly over the top. Sprinkle generously with 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
  9. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving to allow the casserole to set.
