How to Make Beef With Oyster Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and cornflour until smooth.
- Set the sauce aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of peanut oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add half of the beef and stir-fry until browned (about 2-3 minutes).
- Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
- Repeat with the remaining peanut oil and beef.
- Add the minced garlic, ginger, and chili (if using) to the wok and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the sliced onion and capsicum and stir-fry for 1 minute until slightly softened.
- Return the beef to the wok.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables.
