- Bulk Pork Sausage
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons butter

- 2 tablespoons chili sauce

How to Make Apple Stuffed Sausage Patties
- Shape 1 lb sausage meat into 8 patties, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 1/2 cup chopped celery and 1/2 cup chopped onion. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes, but do not brown.
- Remove skillet from heat.
- Stir in 1/4 cup water.
- Add 1 cup herb stuffing mix, 1 medium apple (about 1 cup) peeled and diced, 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, 2 tablespoons chili sauce, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Mix well.
- Place about 1/2 cup of the stuffing mixture onto 4 of the sausage patties.
- Top each stuffed patty with a remaining sausage patty.
- Gently press the edges to seal.
- Place the patties in a 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
- Bake in a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the sausage is cooked through and the stuffing is heated.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
