- 1 pound pasta

How to Make Goulash
- Cook 1 pound of pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- While pasta cooks, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 medium onion, chopped, and 8 ounces of sliced mushrooms. Saute until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet and brown, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in 1 (28-ounce) can of crushed tomatoes, 1 (15-ounce) can of tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Heat through for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
