How to Make Apple Spiced Meatloaf

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Chop 1 medium onion and 2 cloves garlic. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, or until softened.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the softened onion and garlic with 1 teaspoon dried sage, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, 1 cup breadcrumbs, ¾ cup unsweetened applesauce, 1 large egg, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom, 1 teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon black pepper. Mix well.
