How to Make Asian Style Meatballs
- Preheat your skillet to medium heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine 1 large egg, 1/4 cup finely diced carrots, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
- Add 1 pound ground meat (beef, pork, or turkey) to the bowl and gently mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Shape the meat mixture into 8 meatballs.
- Cook meatballs in the preheated skillet until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Remove meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
- Wipe out the skillet with paper towels.
- Add 1/2 cup ginger-sesame grill sauce (or stir-fry sauce) and 1/4 cup water to the skillet. Stir to combine.
