- 1 medium acorn squash (about 2 pounds)
- Ground Turkey
- Mcintosh Apple
- Dried Breadcrumbs
- Egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Poultry Seasoning

How to Make Acorn Squash With Apple Turkey Stuffing
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and dry the acorn squash. Remove the stem and trim the bottom to create a flat surface.
- Cut the acorn squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and stringy pulp.
- Prick the inside flesh of each squash half all over with a fork.
- In a large bowl, combine the stuffing ingredients (see below) and mix thoroughly.
- Fill each squash half generously with the stuffing mixture, mounding slightly.
- Place the stuffed squash halves in a baking dish. Add 1/2 inch of water to the bottom of the dish.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the squash is tender and the stuffing is heated through and lightly browned.
