How to Make Asian Beef And Noodles
- Prepare all vegetables: wash, cut and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced sirloin steak and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine one packet of Asian stir-fry seasoning with the cooked beef; toss to coat.
- Add the broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and red pepper to the skillet. Sauté for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until vegetables are almost tender.
- Add the 1/2 cup of water, grated ginger, and the remaining packet of Asian stir-fry seasoning to the skillet.
- Stir in the noodles and bring to a boil.
- Add the snow peas, water chestnuts, and peas. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until noodles are tender and vegetables are cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cooked beef and scallions to the skillet.
- Stir to combine and cook for 1 more minute to heat through.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor
Chef's secret: layers of flavor make a dish truly memorable! Consider what a little extra something could bring – perhaps a touch of acidity like a good vinegar or citrus zest, a hint of smokiness from paprika, a bit of umami from mushrooms or soy sauce, or a sprinkle of toasted nuts for texture. Experiment and taste as you go!
