How to Make Baked Ziti With Vegetables And Mushrooms
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ziti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add onion and bell peppers; sauté for 5 minutes, until softened.
- Add mushrooms and garlic; sauté for 2 minutes more.
- Stir in basil, salt, pepper, crushed tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
