How to Make Beef With Cashews
- Heat 2 tablespoons of peanut oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of peanut oil to the wok.
- Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the roasted cashews and stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
- Return the beef to the wok.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and beef broth until smooth.
- Pour the cornstarch mixture into the wok. Stir constantly until the sauce comes to a boil and thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
- Serve immediately over steamed rice.
