How to Make Amazing Sweet Italian Sausage Pasta Soup

  1. Brown 1 lb sweet Italian sausage in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Remove sausage from pot and set aside.
  2. Add 1 large onion, chopped, and 2 carrots, chopped, to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in 2 cloves garlic, minced, and cook for 1 minute more.
