How to Make Spicy Curried Lentils And Rice

  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, grated ginger, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Continue to sauté for another 5 minutes, until the onion begins to soften.
  4. Add the rinsed lentils, rinsed rice, curry powder, and 2 1/2 cups of water. Stir well to combine.
