How to Make All Day Beef Stew
- In a large bowl, combine 2 lbs beef stew meat (cut into 1-inch cubes), 1 large onion (chopped), 2 carrots (chopped), 2 celery stalks (chopped), 3 cloves garlic (minced), 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1 tsp dried rosemary, 1 bay leaf, 4 cups beef broth, 1 cup red wine (optional), 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to your slow cooker or crock-pot.
