How to Make Apple Stuffed Pork Roast
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Peel, core, and chop the apples. Combine the chopped apples with the bread crumbs, sage, thyme, onion, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Make a deep pocket in the center of the pork roast using a sharp knife. Gently stuff the apple mixture into the pocket.
- Place the stuffed pork roast in a roasting pan. Pour the apple cider around the roast.
- Roast for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the roast registers 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving. Spoon the pan juices over the sliced roast.
