How to Make Bacon Cheeseburger Potato Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Cook bacon until crispy. Crumble and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  4. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cheddar cheese soup, milk, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Heat through, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in 1/2 of the crumbled bacon and 1/2 of the shredded cheese. Remove from heat.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine the mashed potatoes and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  8. Pour half of the mashed potato mixture into the prepared pie plate and spread evenly.
  9. Pour the beef and cheese mixture over the potatoes.
  10. Top with the remaining mashed potatoes, spreading evenly.
  11. Sprinkle the remaining bacon and cheese over the top.
  12. Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until heated through and golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
