How to Make Bacon Cheeseburger Potato Pie
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
- Cook bacon until crispy. Crumble and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese soup, milk, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Heat through, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in 1/2 of the crumbled bacon and 1/2 of the shredded cheese. Remove from heat.
- In a separate bowl, combine the mashed potatoes and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Pour half of the mashed potato mixture into the prepared pie plate and spread evenly.
- Pour the beef and cheese mixture over the potatoes.
- Top with the remaining mashed potatoes, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining bacon and cheese over the top.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until heated through and golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
