How to Make Best Crab Cakes Sandwiches
- In a large bowl, combine 1 pound lump crab meat, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup finely chopped celery, 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1 large egg, lightly beaten, and 1/4 cup all-purpose flour.
- Spread 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs on a sheet of wax paper.
- Gently shape the crab mixture into 8 patties (about 1/2 inch thick). Coat each patty thoroughly with breadcrumbs. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to overnight).
